Welcome to Apollo Chapter 1137.

Chapter 1137 was organized in 1969 with about 18 Charter members. Our charter was approved in 1970. Since that small beginning the membership has grown to more than 350 members. Chapter 1137 is named Apollo after the space program by the same name. We serve a large area in central Florida, primarily Brevard County and have members from Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, Cocoa, Satellite Beach, and Melbourne.

Chapter meetings are currently being held at the Piccadilly Cafeteria on Merritt Island. We meet at 11:45 AM the 2nd Monday except in July and August.

June Meeting

The June meeting will be about hurricane preparedness. Ron Richie is the person from Brevard Office of Emergency Management who will give the presentation. This program is usually very good in giving information about how to prepare for the hurricane season. Hope to see a large turnout for this program.

All members are invited to attend the board meetings. They are held at Merritt Island Public Lirary at 12:30 P. M.
